Yoga 101 - a Thriving Thistle Master Class

Join Karen Norman for a two hour Master Class of exploring the beautiful, ancient practice of Yoga on July 27th from 10am to 12pm at the Thriving Thistle Wellness Center in Apple River.

This class is for everyone, from the beginner to the experienced yogi! We will dive deeply into 2 of the 8 limbs of yoga. We will discuss the important role of the breath (Pranayama) and practice breathing techniques commonly used in a yoga practice. Then we will learn proper alignment of frequently incorporated poses (asana) and sequences found within a yoga practice. We will end by putting all of the pieces together in a flow class. Come begin your journey or deepen your practice with us!!

We will be moving so wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement.

The cost for this Master Class is $35 per person. You can sign-up at the Wellness Center, at www.thrivingthistle.come, or via the MindBody App.
