What is Compost? How do you make Compost and where do I start? Why is Compost good for my soil? What do you use to make it? All of these questions will be answered on our Composting Field Trip to Aunt Beez Greenhouse with Dr. Jess on April 26th! Compost is a mixture of ingredients used as plant fertilizer and it's great to help improve your soil's physical, chemical, and biological properties. It is commonly prepared by decomposing plant and food waste, recycling organic materials, and manure. It can be overwhelming to start the composting, and we all have questions, so let's learn together! More details are coming soon on this Class - but you can sign-up NOW at the Thistle!
